Review Policy
Reviews help build trust in the AEC community. This page outlines the rules that apply to both clients leaving reviews and businesses managing them.
One review per day
You may submit one review per day across all businesses on Draftz. This helps keep feedback genuine and prevents spam.
One review per business
You may leave only one review per business. If a business has multiple branch locations, you may leave one review per location — but no more than one for any single location or for the business overall.
Based on real experience
Reviews must reflect your own genuine, first-hand experience with the business. Posting on someone else's behalf or about a business you haven't worked with is not allowed.
Honest & respectful
Be truthful and constructive. Do not include threats, harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, or confidential information about a project or contract.
No fraudulent or incentivized reviews
Fake reviews, reviews exchanged for discounts or payment, and coordinated review campaigns are prohibited. Businesses may not offer compensation in exchange for reviews.
Reporting reviews
If you see a review that violates these rules, use the report option on the review and our team will review it. Retaliation against a reviewer for a genuine review is not tolerated.
Reviews for all businesses
Every business on Draftz can receive client reviews, regardless of subscription tier. Businesses on any plan can display and collect reviews from their clients.
Responding to reviews
Any business can post one public response to each review. Responses should be professional and may not include a customer's personal or confidential information.
Location-specific reviews
Expert businesses with multiple branch locations can receive reviews directed at a specific branch. Each location carries its own rating and review list, and a reviewer may leave one review per location. Businesses respond to and manage reviews per location from the dashboard.
Google review syncing
Businesses can connect a Google Place ID to sync their 5 most recent Google reviews onto their Draftz profile. Synced Google reviews are labeled "from Google" and display alongside Draftz reviews. A business may use a unique Google Place ID for its main profile and each branch location to avoid double-counting.
Counting Google reviews toward your score
Businesses choose whether synced Google star ratings are blended into their overall Draftz rating and review count. When the "Count Google reviews toward my Draftz score" toggle is on, Google ratings are included in the aggregate; when off, Google reviews still display on the profile but do not affect the Draftz score. This setting can be changed at any time from the Google Reviews Sync dialog.
One deletion every 4 months
A business may delete one Draftz review from its page every 4 months. This allowance is managed in the Reviews section of the business dashboard and cannot be carried over or accumulated.
Cooldown & availability
After a deletion, the next available deletion date is shown in the dashboard. Until then, the delete control is disabled. The 4-month cooldown is enforced server-side and cannot be bypassed.
Google reviews cannot be deleted
Reviews synced from Google are managed by Google and cannot be removed individually from Draftz. To remove or update them, re-sync from the Google Reviews Sync dialog or turn syncing off. Google reviews are also not subject to the 4-month deletion allowance.
Use reporting, not deletion
Reviews that violate our guidelines should be reported rather than deleted. Repeatedly deleting genuine negative reviews may result in loss of deletion privileges.
No review manipulation
Businesses may not solicit biased reviews, filter out negative feedback through third parties, or punish clients for honest reviews. Violations can lead to suspension or removal from the directory.
Draftz reserves the right to remove reviews or revoke review privileges that violate this policy. For questions, contact support.
