Content Posting Guidelines

These guidelines describe what businesses and users may post on Draftz — including profiles, projects, photos, reviews, and messages. They help keep the directory trustworthy and useful for the entire AEC community.

Business Profiles

Provide accurate, truthful information about your business, including name, category, contact details, and service area.
Do not impersonate another business or claim credentials, licenses, or certifications you do not hold.
Logos and cover photos must represent your own brand. Misleading or stock imagery that implies a false affiliation is not permitted.
Keep your profile updated. Stale or abandoned profiles may be hidden from search results.

Projects & Photos

Projects must showcase work your business genuinely performed. Posting another company's work as your own is prohibited.
Photos should be your own or properly licensed. Do not upload copyrighted images, stock photography, or content pulled from third-party sources.
Photos must not depict illegal activity, unsafe work practices, or offensive material.
Project descriptions should be factual — avoid exaggerated claims about scope, budget, or outcomes.

Reviews

Reviews must reflect genuine, first-hand experience. Fake, incentivized, or coordinated reviews are not allowed.
You may leave only one review per business. If a business has multiple branch locations, you may leave one review per location, but no more than one for any single location or for the business overall.
Businesses may not offer compensation, discounts, or favors in exchange for reviews.
One public response per review is allowed and should remain professional and factual.

Acceptable Media & Messaging

Do not post content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit.
No spam, advertising for unrelated services, or repeated promotional messaging through project descriptions or messages.
Respect confidentiality — do not share a client's personal, financial, or contract details without permission.
Messages between users and businesses must be used for legitimate project inquiries, not solicitation or abuse.

Prohibited Content

Content promoting discrimination, violence, or harm against any person or group.
Deceptive or fraudulent listings, including shell businesses or bait-and-switch service offerings.
Content that infringes the intellectual property, trademark, or privacy rights of others.
Any content that violates applicable local, state, or federal laws governing the AEC industry.

Enforcement

Draftz may remove content that violates these guidelines without notice.
Repeated or serious violations can result in loss of features, suspension, or removal from the directory.
Businesses can report violations through the report option on the relevant profile, project, or review.
