This past year I had the opportunity to build a spec home with Brady and Chris. This was not my first time building a spec home, but it was my first time using Summit Construction. I knew this home could be challenging because it is in Carbon County, which is over the mountain from the areas they typically build, but it wasn't challenging at all. It was one of the best experiences I've had. There was zero frustration, and the communication was excellent. I always knew what had been completed and what still needed to be done. About four months into the project, the home went under contract. The buyers were nervous about selecting finishes, but I told them how helpful Chris and Brady had been. They decided to trust the process and didn't regret it. With Summit Construction's guidance, the buyers now have a custom home they love, and I have happy clients. Without hesitation, Summit Construction is now building my personal home, and everything is going great. I highly recommend them.

I totally understand the nerves — choosing a contractor is stressful, and we'd all heard the horror stories. You know the ones. I interviewed six contractors before choosing Summit, and I'm so glad I went with Brady's team. Our experience with Brady, Chris, and the whole Summit crew was excellent from start to finish. The build went smoothly, stayed on budget, and the communication was solid throughout — which, if you've ever dealt with contractors before, you know is not always a given. A special shoutout to Chris, who was incredibly helpful every step of the way. Questions, concerns, random "wait, what does that mean?" moments — Chris handled all of it with patience and professionalism. The man deserves a trophy. Or at least a really good lunch. What really stood out was how invested the whole team was in getting things right. They made several thoughtful suggestions that made a real difference in the finished home — things we never would have thought of ourselves. For example, they recommended slightly enlarging a bathroom so the door would swing properly. Small thing, huge impact. It never felt like us vs. the contractor. It felt like they were genuinely on our side through what can be a very stressful process. Even my wife — who I'll admit is a tough customer 😉 — is absolutely thrilled with how the home turned out. That alone might be their greatest achievement. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to use Summit again or recommend them to anyone. We just moved into our custom home that Summit Construction built for us. I don’t remember anyone ever saying they love the building experience, or their builder. This was our first experience with building a home and I will say that we loved the process! And we loved our builder! From the beginning we felt comfortable that Brady, Chris, and their team would be able to deliver a quality home in the time and at the price they promised. And it was so much fun to see our vision come together. A few things stand out in our experience working with them. They are great communicators! Chris was our main point of contact during construction and we always knew what was going on. We always felt like we could trust them! Honest and transparent costs. Also, I’m sure not all their clients are as budget conscious as we were, but Chris was always conscientious about helping us get the best bang for our buck! Helping us to see which upgrades made sense and which didn’t. In the end we came in right at our budgeted amount, and we got exactly what we wanted and even more. The appraiser commented, “I can’t believe you got this much house for what it cost you to build it!” I think the highest praise I can give Summit Construction is that at the end of our build, I told Kristen, “I wish these guys were our neighbors!” We can’t recommend them highly enough!
