Had a shower that had a worn out cartridge, called Scottsdale Plumbing and inquired what it would cost over the phone the receptionist did her best to give me a ballpark quote after looking up my part and calling me back. They provide free quotes, whether over phone or a visit to your house. Made an appointment with Sean who was on time, took a look at my issue and went right to work and had zero issues with installing a new cartridge. Shower fixed nice and easy with no issue at an honest price. Thanks again Sean! Be sure to get call Scottsdale Plumbing & let them to give you a quote on your job.

Yet another disappointment by Scottsdale Plumbing. They hire anyone to work for them and have inexperienced plumbers. DO NOT LET THEM INTO YOUR HOME! My uncle had work done by them yesterday and left him without hot water after charging him over $500 to replace parts that were UNDER WARRANTY and it's been 38 degrees the past several nights they've been without hot water! Here is the invoice to prove it (2 elements, 2 thermostats). They installed the water heater in April 2018 so it was less than a year old with a 6 year warranty and it went out last Saturday. Today is Wednesday! The tech, Mario, admitted to not knowing anything about electrical, but proceeded to replace every part on the water heater anyways. We called another plumber out and within 10 minutes he had the problem diagnosed and fixed, making hot water. The tech failed to open the other junction box in the wall, leading to find the fried wire exposed in plain view after he opened it and looked in there with his flashlight. Stripped 2 wires with a new wire nut the water heater was on and making hot water. $75 service call was all he paid and that was all to get the problem fixed. The tech spent a lot of time on the phone with American Water Heater Tank company phone operator reading a screen telling him to replace parts left and right when there was not sufficient power going to the water heater in the first place. There is no way the tech could have possibly figured out what was wrong with it by just replacing everything. What a nightmare to be dealing with. I hope they see this and conduct the proper training their techs need. Stop taking peoples money and ripping everyone off!!! Why would you leave a house knowing they haven't had hot water in days and take OVER $500 with you?! Poor business ethics as no one else cared to help this individual that came out yesterday. Where is the supervisor? Who trained him? Who let him out into the field not trained or qualified on how to do his job? I had to take time out of my day to go help him out with this issue as the electrician was going to be yet another charge and another day away. How frustrating. Do yourself a favor and call another plumber in the area.

I'm trying to moderate my disappointment with a 2-star review rather than putting them on blast with a 1-star. But they installed a replacement tankless water heater with the wrong sized o-ring that crimped and leaked all over my bedroom floor (the utility closet is next to my bedroom). That would have been bad enough, but because they didn't firmly secure the washing machine drain hose into the laundry drain pipe (and, to be fair, those things just kind of precariously drape over the edge into an unsecured drain opening in the wall), the next time I did laundry, I had GALLONS of water disgorged into my hallway, bathroom, office, and bedroom. Everything stowed under my bed now has water damage. It took me all day on a Sunday to frantically move furniture, throw towels everywhere, move as many valuables out of harm's way as possible, and mop up all that water. Stressful and exhausting. And when I was done, I had, ironically enough, about 8 loads of laundry to do: every towel in the house, plus all the off-season clothing and linens stored under the bed. Also, it took three visits after the initial estimate (so four visits total) to complete the job, one return to repair the first leak they caused, the second because they didn't have the parts they needed in their van. The required parts should have been listed on the write up for the estimate, but... oops. The final bill reflected no accommodation for to all the visits, for the screw up on the installation, for the stress and time cleaning up not one but TWO leaks that they caused, and for the damage to my personal belongings. Think about that: In my three years living in this house, nothing had ever leaked UNTIL they entered the premises to "fix" things. Just... wow. I paid the bill because I have to protect my credit rating and I can't afford to hire a lawyer, but at least I can suggest to people who read reviews to look for a better company. Why two stars? I'll give them credit for this: The individual guys who came to my home were nice people. Nothing's leaking now. I have hot water. And the water softener -- installed to prevent scaling on the tankless heating elements -- seems to be working. But, c'mon, it was a straightforward job that shouldn't have caused this much stress and damage. And, again, they don't seem to care one bit. Zero attempt to make it right at check out.

Great customer service! I was working on a DIY plumbing project today and realized the very hard to find bathroom faucet cartridge, I had purchased from another business was defective. And the business I purchased it from had closed for the day. I called Tru Value Hardware, they didn't have the cartridge I needed but recommended Scottsdale Plumbing. I then called Scottsdale Plumbing, approximately five minutes before they closed to ask if they had the cartridge i needed, in stock! Janice with Scottsdale Plumbing not only was nice enough to check to verify if the cartridge I needed was in stock (it was)! She stayed open an extra fifteen minutes for me to drive over and purchase the cartridge so I could finish my project and turn my water back on! Thanks again, Janice and Scottsdale Plumbing!

Firstly, thank you Sean R and Maggie! We needed a new service line from the meter to the house. I called and got an estimate set up. Day of estimate I got great updates and met up with Sean. He measured everything and went over the project needs. There were no crazy upsells or fantasy warranty stories like some of these huge valley companies. He wrapped things up and then said he'd get the estimate to us shortly. He did the whole thing in his truck and as he pulled off I got the email. We've been dealing with so many companies in the past 5 years who just email us a number and call it a "task", with no explanation of what I'm paying for. Welllll! Sean's emailed estimate had a line by line cost sheet that included labor and parts. We had another quote but, as previously stated "tasks", we were so impressed by the detail of this that we chose them. We're even getting a quote for the next job! We set up the appointment. They were here at 7am and done by 2pm, everything looked like it did before they dug it up. They even found some sprinkler pipes that we didn't know about and repaired one they broke just in case we needed it for future use. How thoughtful. And thank you to the two guys who did the job. Trenching by hand in 113° heat and still smiling. Great service!
