Fidel took the time to determine how quickly he could accommodate me in the schedule and then discussed the potential issues with my A/C units in a manner that was both professional and informative. After a 4:30 p.m. call, he managed to fit me into an already busy schedule and arrived at my home before 8:00 a.m. the following morning. I contacted Desert Comfort Mechanical after the company that installed my unit and completed the annual inspection on May 21 informed me that the 2-yr old capacitor was bad. The part was covered under warranty but the installation would be $444. I called Desert Comfort Mechanical to inspect the part and get an estimate to replace it. They responded right away to my call and on June 4 checked out the capacitor. Turns out the capacitor was not bad, and even if it was the cost to replace it would be half of what I was quoted. Because of this, Desert Comfort Mechanical will be my new AC company. I was grateful that there is still a reputable AC company that does not charge for unnecessary parts and repairs. Plus their technicians were personable and professional.

After feeling like my previous A/C company was always trying to upsell me, I started looking for a new provider. I contacted several companies, but Desert Comfort Mechanical stood out right away because of their excellent communication and genuine customer service. When it was time for maintenance, I gave them a call and had a great experience and have used them since for an issue I was experience. Trino, the service technician, was professional, personable, and kept me informed throughout the entire visit. It's refreshing to work with a company that truly cares about its customers. When I contacted Desert Comfort and spoke with Fidel about by AC problem, he took the time to explain possibilities and was very patient with my questions. Because he was very knowledgeable and seemed honest, I proceeded with having him do a diagnostic. He arrived on time with excellent communications and found and corrected a wiring problem very quickly. He went above and beyond in conducting his service. When it is time that I may need a new AC, I will be happy to ask him to make a recommendation and to provide a quote. I appreciated that he shared that their prices are likely to be on the higher end but it's worth a consideration when you can have confidence in knowledge and quality.

The AC Techs came out early in the morning and diagnosed the issue very quickly and was able to repair the unit the same day. My AC unit went out on Sunday and I sent an email and they replied the same day. They determined my Blower Motor was bad as well as multiple capacitors were bad as well. They displayed outstanding professional and customer service and were respectful and polite. I am not an expert but the pricing seems to be good and was less expensive than my previous AC company. I was also very happy that they did not try and just sell my new AC units. They also provided me with a Veteran Discount. Overall, I would highly recommend Desert Comfort Mechanical.
